457 Deferred Compensation Plan

The County of San Diego offers a 457 Deferred Compensation Plan to all County and Superior Court Employees. This program allows you to save either of 100% of your Includible Income (after any 401(a) contributions) or the following pretax amounts:

The County of San Diego’s Deferred Compensation service provider is Nationwide Retirement Solutions.

The minimum contribution is $10/per paycheck per plan, and you may suspend your contributions or begin contributing again at any time.

This is a great way for you to save up for your retirement! Once you invest in the plan, the money remains in the plan until you terminate or retire.
